Happy St. Patrick's Day!!

Today was a bit crazy!!! But my girls love St. Patrick's Day. Soccer officially started today and all three girls decided to play. Luckily, when I put all the schedules on the calendar, they worked out ok. Alyse and Madelyn are on the same fields and almost the exact same times each week. Annie is all over the place, but Kurt can usually take her, so for now, it works! Kendell is a trooper and just likes being outside and eating her snacks.
We did our usually green dinner, but the girls were driving me crazy, plus I think I'm tired and worn down, so that never helps....so we did not do our "treasure" hunt.
We did do our "gold" for neighbors and friends....I filled a plastic bag with gold candy and have a note attached that says "Hey it's your lucky day, A little green leprechaun came your way to with you a Happy St. Patrick's Day!" We delivered to 14 people...the girls do it doorbell ditch style. It was so fun to watch them get all excited and anxious about someone catching them. Madelyn did the first couple but then got so scared about it that she would only go about 10 steps beyond the car and wait for Annie and Alyse to start running back and then she's hop in...they loved it! We did get caught a few times, but just laughed about it and then the girls had fun retelling the times we got caught to Kurt.

Valentine's Day

Katrina-this is for you!! So many things have happened since the 1st day of school and Valentine's Day, but oh well...such is my life now. Annie had a soccer game this night and I was working at Kurt's office all day, so this was definitely not one of our more memorable Valentine's Day. I was up until 1:30ish making treats for the girls, so they would feel like it was V-Day...then we ended up at CiCi's Pizza for dinner - at least no clean up for me.

1st day of school

Annie started 3rd grade today and was so excited! Alyse started 1st grade, therefore, got to get her cone..a german tradition. She loved it and was also excited. All the girls were up around 6:45. Way before their normal time. In fact, I'm pretty sure I haven't seen Alyse out of bed before 9 this summer! They each picked out a new outift/shoes, and were very excited to finally get to wear them. Madelyn does not start preschool until after labor day, but did not want to be left out of the festivities. She wanted to look just like Alyse. Alyse wanted poofy hair for the first day, so we braided it and left it in for 2 days to get the amazing huge poof look!! Annie's gloves were a purchase made with her own money and the minute she bought them she knew she was going to wear them on the first day of school! What to do? She loves those fish net arm bands....no she does not have casts on:)

Easter

I am no good at blogging anymore, so I am just going to post some updated pictures of my kiddos from Easter and at some point I'll make it back to journal about it. We had a great Sunday with family and friends....a raining and cold Sunday, but in good company. The girls all had spring dresses and wore them despite the cold...then Kurt and I made them go outside for some pictures, such mean parents!! And we actually got a good family picture with everyone looking!!!! I was quite impressed since it was on timer mode and there was no one to make noises and waving arms to have Kendell look a certain way....
