Fall Leaves...

Today Annie decided that she wanted to rake the leaves...so I let her. Kurt was gone getting a haircut so I sat in the camping chair out side while the girls played and Annie raked the leaves. At first it was just our yard. The little girls, however, wanted a big pile of leaves, so they started to go to the neighbors yard and put leaves in Madelyn's bike basket and then dump them into our yard. Plus, the leaves were red and ours were only yellow. Annie did not think this was such a nice idea, but I thought it was pretty funny. Anyway, after Annie finished our yard, she wanted to go across the street a friends' yard and rake, so I said ok. I told her it would be nice act of service. They had a ton of leaves!! So, off she went...then Kurt came home and started to help, so we all went over to gather the leaves....only to dump them back into our own yard so that the girls would have a "huge" pile of leaves to jump and play in. It worked and they loved it!!! Thanks Annie!!!

I, too, feel like we are living in Autumn Heaven with the gorgeous leaves of Charlottesville and the Shenandoah Mountains. I am definitely enjoying the beauty of these leaves. The pictures are darling of the girls!!

I am sorry but the front of this house looks just like the one in TN. I thought you were trying to pull on over on us and use pics from last year or something!
